Digital Retinal Photo
Takes a photo of the retina (back of the eye) - aids in the diagnosis of diseases that affect the retina - Hypertension, Diabetes, Macular Degeneration and many more. Our doctors recommend this photo for all patients, especially those with a personal or family history. This helps us monitor changes in your eyes as it allows direct comparisons of previous photos stored digitally.
Optical Coherent Tomography
This tool scans the deeper layers of the back of the eye and gives even more detailed information than a traditional photo – like an X-ray. It aids in confirming many diseases affecting especially the Optic Nerve (Glaucoma, Brain tumors, strokes etc) and the macula (Macula Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy etc). It is an important tool in monitoring these conditions. Our doctors recommend these tests when clinically warranted.
Visual Field
This equipment tests for the peripheral and central vision in general. It aids in the monitoring and diagnosis of different kinds of diseases. Patients also need this test as requested by the MTO to renew/reinstate driving licenses. We also do this test to see if any damages have been done to patients who suffered from a stroke; trauma etc.

Glaucoma Management and Co-Management
Diagnosing and management of glaucoma disease including prescribing drops aimed at reducing eye pressure and co-management with ophthalmology when needed.
Macular Degeneration Management and Co-Management
Diagnosing and management of Age Related Macula Degeneration (ARMD) with our state of the art equipments. We compare photos and scans and do a close watch for possible progressions. We also recommend different treatment regimens aimed at delaying progression.
Macula Therapy - follow ups and monitoring
For patients taking Hydroxychloroquine for longterm use; we monitor closely the macula for any potential damage and we co-manage with family doctors and specialists.
Pre/Post-Operative Cataract Co-Management
We refer patients out for cataract surgery and manage them afterwards.
Diabetic Retinopathy Monitoring
Diabetic patients need a yearly dilated examination to monitor closely for potential retinopathy.
Dry eye management and monitoring
We offer treatments and management for dry eyes including prevention of underlying cause.
Red eyes (Conjunctivitis) Assessment/Treatment
There are different causes of conjunctivitis (Viral, Bacterial etc) and we diagnose and prescribe the necessary medications to treat these.
